We are excited to announce that Royd Tolkien will be joining us for the first time at Wales Comic Con in 2014! ;D
Fans of the much loved Lord of the Rings books and movies will know Royd as the great-grandson of JRR Tolkien and was invited to the sets of the original trilogy when the movies were being filmed in New Zealand, after visiting Royd was also offered an on-screen role and appeared as a Gondorian ranger in the Return of the King appearing in multiple scenes alongside the cast.
More recently Royd has also appeared in the latest instalment of the Hobbit trilogy.
Royd Tolkien works as a film producer Notable films produced by him include Pimp, wherein he also plays himself as well as spending much of his time raising money for charity.
