We are very pleased to announce and welcome to Comic Con for the very first time; Mr Mark Lester! ;D Everywhere around the world people know the story of young Oliver Twist from the novel written by Charles Dickens - when a movie was made following on from the success of the stage show version, hundreds of applicants applied for the title role of young Oliver but at the tender age of 8, Mark Lester was chosen as the boy who would sing about "food, glorious food" and learning that "you've got to pick a pocket or two". Other appearances throughout his career include that of Black Beauty and also a return to acting more recently in the medievil flick; 1066, due out later this year. This will be Mark's first time attending the event and is a new signer on the convention circuit - we are excited to welcome Mark to the show! Jaime & the Mercury Promotions team

Cool! Loved him in Oliver, but I am even more excited to see 1066, especially as the one and only Lewis Collins is going to be in it. Can you not persuade the fantastic Mr C to appear, Jaime? One can only hope.
