We are excited to announce that Gemma Whelan will be attending her first convention with us at Wales Comic Con this Autumn and joins our Game of Thrones panel! ;D
Fans of the HBO series will know Gemma from her role as Yara Greyjoy – renamed from "Asha" in the novels on which the series is based starring opposite Alfie Allen in the show as his sister for whom he has both admiration and jealousy for what she has achieved in his time away.
Gemma also appeared in the Wolfman alongside fellow guest Spencer Wilding and has appeared in the recent Gulliver's Travels.
In other work Gemma is known for her work as a comedian, she won the 2010 Funny Women Variety award for stand-up comedy.
