We are thrilled to announce that Carlos Bernard will be joining us for the first time at Comic Con this April! ;D Fans of the phenomenal drama series 24 will know Carlos for his role as CTU employee turned director turned rogue turned friend turned all round cool cat - Tony Almeida. Joining the cast as a supporting role in series 1, Carlos went on to cement his popularity with the fans and the role of Tony was increased dramatically over the course of the following seasons and became a main cast member - the journey took a turn for the worst when Tony lost the love of his life on the show and a shocking comeback was revealed in the promotional buildup to Season 7 which would be Carlos' final journey alongside Kiefer Sutherland and the crew. Carlos has made guest appearances on Walker, Texas Ranger, F/X: The Series, Babylon 5, and Silk Stalkings and appeared as a regular on the daytime soap opera, The Young and the Restless. He has appeared in the feature films Alien Raiders, Vegas, City of Dreams, The Killing Jar, and the short film The Colonel's Last Flight. This will be the first time Carlos has attended an event in Wales and is a rare chance to meet one of the starring cast members of such a well loved tv show - we can confirm that Carlos will also be taking part in a photo-op and a Q&A panel at Comic Con Jaime & the Mercury Promotions team

Hi I'm concerned to read in other threads that some people didn't get in last year because the event was so busy. I've bought a photoshoot ticket for Carlos. Are there likely to be the same difficulties this year?
I've never been to this event before so I don't know what to expect.
Thanks

Hi I'm concerned to read in other threads that some people didn't get in last year because the event was so busy. I've bought a photoshoot ticket for Carlos. Are there likely to be the same difficulties this year? I've never been to this event before so I don't know what to expect. Thanks We appreciate your concern on this mrdavid and this is one of the major focus points for us as an event going into the next one - we even asked fans what they wanted us to do - go, move, stay etc and it all kept coming back to keeping it where it was. There was indeed a queue last time due to the hugely popular nature of the event - due to fire regulations restrictions had to be put in place. Once people were in though they thoroughly enjoyed it. This year we are holding separate queues for ticket holders - if people have purchased photo-ops we will be posting times before the event on the website so that people are aware what time to be on the campus for - if you are concerned that you may miss a shoot please alert a member of the team when you are at the venue. The event this year is held across multiple halls so that we have more space for everyone to fit into - there is the sports complex which we have used for years which will contain stall holders and signings, the Catrin Finch centre next door where the photo-ops take place, photo-op collection and a free gaming lounge with consoles and PC rigs as well as a small bar area for refreshments, the William Aston Hall with a 1000 seats for our main Q&As, a smaller Q&A hall next door with 250 seats and then the foyer outside these 2 halls which will be a second celebrity signing area. Maps will be provided on the flyers on the day and we are hoping to have sign posts up around the venue so that people DO venture around as there is more to see. We also have movie cars outside the venues for people to see as well as our live Owls on hand that you can meet and hold - nothing to do with comics or movies but a local charity we love and support plus who doesn't like owls?! So yes - in short this is something we have addressed and spent a lot more of our budget on to get access around the venue so it is down to the fans to enjoy ALL aspects of it so that all can get in on time Hope this helps! ~Jaime

So it sounds like you are confident there shouldn't be the same problems this year then? I am coming from Bristol for the show, and have photo shoot tickets so will be really disappointed if I can't get in.

Please bare in mind that photo-ops tickets do not guarantee you entry whereas anyone with preorder entry tickets will be in a separate queue - as said we are confident it should work as long as people are aware to get around the entire venue
