Hey guys, at this years comic con, if you provided your own thing for a person to sign, for example, a sketch, then they would sign it for free but if you wanted to use of of the pictures that they provide, you paid i think round about £10. Will those rules be the same for this years ? I intend on buying an autograph from Jack Donnelly but i have a Torchwood dvd I would like to get signed by Eve Myles. So would the Torchwood dvd signature be free, and Jack's be charged ? Any help would be great ! Can't wait for this day now

Hmm I always thought it was the autograph you paid for, and the photo's were complimentary.
I guess it would be up to the guest in question.

at this year's event when i met Eoin Macken, he signed a sketch i did for free, and the woman sitting next to him said it would be £10 for an autographed picture of himself

Can't wait for this day now All signatures at the event are on a pay for basis for each individual signature whether it is a picture provided for free or your own personal items, in this instance the guest opted to sign it for free which is their choice of course. Any future signings must be paid for though as is only fair for all other members of public attending also

It is pay per autograph even if you provide your own item. Eoin was lovely and did sign a couple of complementary items but that was his choice.

How does the autograph process work? Are they a pre-order or buy when we get there?

How does the autograph process work? Are they a pre-order or buy when we get there? All autographs are pay on the day - no need for any random tickets or vouchers, you simply join the queue for the guest you want to meet and pay the member of crew at the signing booth for the relevant amount of signatures you require - you get the choice of having a picture signed that is provided free or you can bring your own item(s) such as a dvd, poster, etc We do offer a preorder service for anyone that cannot make the event which is a through-the-mail delivery system - full details on this will be announced shortly.
