Hey everyone,
Just thought we could do with a thread where we make SENSIBLE suggestions for guests at the Comic Con.
It's already been mentioned that the Comic Zone will be expanded in 2011 which is a great idea because I think the comic side of things have been a little under-represented in the past.
Nobody's expecting you to fly in Jim Lee or anything, but there are a massive amount of really fantastic comic creators living and working in the UK that you could likely convince to come along.
Jock, Duncan Fegredo and Sean Phillips are at pretty much every UK convention and are easily contactable via Twitter. Phil Winslade doesn't live TOO far away and is a lovely chap.
Charlie Adlard only lives in Shrewsbury, and was all set to appear at a signing in the Chester comic shop before the event was postponed, so I'm sure he'd be willing to accomodate. Again, he's a lovely guy and I'm sure that with the TV series proving popular it'd be a big draw having the artist/co-creator of The Walking Dead at the show.
Glad to see Neil Edwards back again and I hope Staz Johnson joins him too. I'm always happy to part with my cash to get sketches from them!
